Three models to choose from
The 2022 Audi A4 comes in a choice of three trim levels that range from a well-equipped entry into the premium segment to a decked-out technology display. The most affordable version is the Komfort, which offers you a long list of standard features, among which are the 10,1-inch center display, the 7-inch driver information display, the tri-zone automatic climate control, the lane keeping assist, the Audi Pre Sense City and rear active safety systems, the leather upholstery and the dynamic rear LED turn signals. If you want a bit more luxury, the Progressiv version extends the features list by adding features like the auto-dimming side mirrors, the front and rear parking sensors, the heated steering wheel, the configurable ambient lighting group, the integrated navigation system, the Amazon Alexa integration and the Digital Cockpit Plus configurable instrument cluster screen. The last model is the Technik, and it is equipped with all of the latest technologies, like the Active Lane Following system, the Matrix LED headlamps, the road sign recognition system, the adaptive cruise control and the Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system.
Two levels of excitement
The 2022 Audi A4 is offered with two variations of the same 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The entry-level engine, labeled 40, is only available on the Komfort model. This powertrain delivers 201 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 7-speed S-Tronic transmission and the acclaimed Quattro AWD system, which can send varying amounts of power to every wheel depending on the road conditions and the way you are driving. Available on the Komfort and standard on every other model is the “45” version of the engine, which bumps power up to 261 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque to allow for truly dynamic accelerations.
