- Meet and greet customers and customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner
- Inspect vehicle and refer to service history to accurately identify and verify customer's service needs
- Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by thoroughly understanding the product and associated service requirements
- Provide accurate cost and time of completion estimates for the services recommended, communicate, and get proper authorization from customers
- Liaise with Shop Foreman and Service Technicians on work orders and requirements.
- Check on progress of services to vehicles throughout the day and contact customer to communicate and receive approval regarding any changes in the cost-estimate, promised time of delivery or recommended services
- Administer new and used vehicle warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer warranty guidelines
- Confirm service appointments by telephone the day before the customer is scheduled to arrive and conduct post-repair follow up
- Inspect vehicles prior to each customer delivery to ensure vehicles services and/or repairs are performed correctly and communicate the results with the customer
- Demonstrates behaviours to ensure that each customer encounter is consistent with the Bramgate Promise of consistent Easy, Efficient and Enjoyable interactions with at all times.
- Creates an environment where customers are regularly apprised of the current situation.
- Takes the initiative to exceed customer satisfaction, even if it requires overcoming obstacles.
- Understands the customer service measurements used in the Audi network.
- Identifies, recommends, and supports opportunities for methods/process improvement.
- Complete customer surveys. Maintain a customer follow-up system with all customers to confirm satisfaction with their service experience.
- Identifies repeat customers and treats them accordingly.
- Perform various clerical and administrative duties.
- Organize, maintain, and coordinate Company records and files in their proper locations.
- Where necessary, assist in the compilation of data for various reports.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Other duties as required.
- High school diploma or post-secondary courses.
- 3-5 years' experience in a customer service role, preferably in a luxury automotive environment.
- Cashier experience.
- Automotive workshop process and product knowledge.
- Previous experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software an asset.
- Just have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (including computer literacy).
- Strong customer service skills. Ability to negotiate and sell.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
- Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Email, Excel and Word.
- Able to organize and maintain files and basic database.
- Ability to work individually and part of a team.
- Willing to learn more as a part of further personal development.
- Valid G driver's licence.
